I'm a few releases behind and am keen to update to get some of the new features, but haven't found that spare hour yet. Wordpress is easy to install, even more so if your server is running Fantastico. There are plenty of good themes around, so you can get a very nice look and it is easy to add in your own bits and pieces. For example I've got a BlogMap which shows other bloggers near me. And it is all free. I can’t comment on Typepad but I’m quite happy with my WordPress blog. I’m a few releases behind and am keen to update to get some of the new features, but haven’t found that spare hour yet.
