At the recommendation of Rubel I downloaded ecto and installed it as a 21-day trial.
However, I couldn’t get it to quickly work for me, so I forgot about it.
Other commentators in the blogosphere have discussed how ecto is great for mac (which is what Rubel uses) but not so ‘hot’ for Windows. But on the eve of heading off to pastures Arabic I thought I’d ask my peers if they use it, what their views are and whether it is worth getting the Windows version or not.
