Courtesy of the worthy Dan Hill of the Flying Aqua Badgers comes this terrific reminder of the dangers of having a blog.

Thought blogging was a safe way to vent those Jack Black “Stick it to the man!” feelings? Think again… John Wagner remind us that “…you are what you post. It’s an excellent message and a must-read for teens and college students.”

The must-read is Steve Silvers’s post on the newly-nomenclatured ‘Transparent Generation’.

Fantastic reading — not only Steve’s post, but Dan and John’s commentaries too.

Thanks for the link … I would encourage any visitors to my post to read the comments section, too, as they provide an interesting look at both the technical and cultural differences between the UK and the U.S. Something to think about in today’s global economy.

Some readers said I was harsh for holding job candidates to a high standard, but I hardly think I’m alone. It’s tough to get noticed in a competitive job market, and many employers WILL focus on the little things as a way of separating top-flight talent from the rest of the field.
