Where do I even begin?

G'day! Thanks for returning!

I had just spent the best part of three hours writing a long post about Qumana, BlogJet and attaching a stack of really good clippings from my wandering around the blogosphere, pulling links together…

THREE HOURS

Kept relentlessly saving the Qumana file (this is the ‘stable’, release, non-beta version 2, not the beta v3) and went to edit it in my text editor (to add the jiggery-pokery code that creates the large first letter I’ve been using recently).

The whole post — gone.

The ‘stable’ non-beta version 2 lost my whole post. Which I had been relentlessly, doggedly saving every new clipping entry.

Angry?

Angry??

DON’T GET ME STARTED!

Lee, there is, I believe, only one word you can really say (or, preferably, shout) in such circumstances:

BOLLOCKS!

EEEK! So sorry for the frustrations, Lee. Hope your weekend was a relaxing one after that!

Lee, I’m sorry to say I was the first one to find that bug … after writing two posts for an hour. I’ll comment on your v3 post in a second, I’m glad you tried that one, but what can I say … it’s an awful bug that no matter how much testing and trying (we aren’t the only ones who had this happen to them), we weren’t able to reproduce it consistantly.

That being said, we’re going to be removing v2 very soon … v3 is the next version of the product and has the best new features.

Thanks again for trying … now on to your v3 post … see ya over there.

Hi Tris,

Thanks for weighing into the conversation. Really appreciated — and can ‘feel your pain’ regarding the loss of your own posts!
