Geez, Lee. Talk about kicking a dead horse. Got a lot of time on your hands?

David Murray was wrong to call Allan (or anybody else) a nobody. I said that up front.

Allan was wrong to drag me into it, and slander (or libel, I can't keep it straight) for no reason.

And I was wrong in my over the top attack on Allan.

As I said in my post, it was an ugly exchange, that never should have happened . . . but some good dialogue did come out of it.

But you seem hell bent to stick to the negative. You seem bound and determined to keep the fight going.

You should move on to bigger and better things. I have, and so, appparently, has everyone else but you.

Here, here, Mary. But I was struck by how forcibly Crescenzo attacked Allan, and incited others to join in.

I was also disappointed that Mark Ragan himself joined in the fray but at no stage did he come to the aid of common sense, which shows me a spectacular lack of statesmanship for someone who's name is so well known and publicised in our little sphere.

I'm a proud femme nobody. I joined the group in a spirit of fun and irreverence. Then, I read the flamer posts/ripostes. Holy Testosterone Melt-down, Batman! Geez, fellas, you'd never say this sort of stuff to each other's face in that bar with the beers.

Reminded me of one of my all-time favorite shows, Murphy Brown. She once said something like, "Why don't I just bring a ruler into the boardroom, you drop trou and we'll get it over with!"

Glad to see that everyone (finally) came to their senses. But, let's keep some perspective from now on, ya think? We're not drilling that hole in a comet for the nuke to save the world. We're not even seeking a cure for cancer. Great to have discussion, it's even productive to disagree. But, let's remember we're all in this together.
