Lee – Flattered that you showed the photo I took of the dog staring out of the training room at PFL in Montana. An inspired company to say the least. While I was being slightly ‘tangential’ to compare this commercial e-printing business to a well designed school, they are in many ways an epitome of a learning org from concept to lay-out. Andrew is a heck of a leader/visionary, but ultimately he believes in people. And dogs. Scoble is planning on putting out the video he too of Andrew the day all of us visited, but I’m certainly flattered that you (he, and others) have pointed to my original “think:lab” post on PFL…and have quickly begun to see the energy found in this dynamic work environment. Hmm. Perhaps because I do care about Apple as a company and want them to do better… I should send a resume? Perhaps for a Blogger Relations job? What, no Blogger Relations position?… with a list of ten reasons why they should have one.

Thanks for the mention, but a clarification is in order. The Voice/Video On the Net conference (VON – http://www.von.com/ ) is produced by Jeff Pulver and his team at Pulvermedia. I am only *attending* and will be recording some interviews for my VoIP security podcast (http://www.blueboxpodcast.com/ ). VON was nice enough to give me press credentials, and so I wound up on the press list… and now am receiving pitches from PR agency staff who just seem to be blindly emailing the entire VON press list – without checking whether or not their pitch is even remotely appropriate for the media outlet.

Anyway, thanks for the mention – and yes, I’m getting very close to just posting the names of all the clueless PR people who have done this. (Perhaps not the people, but at least the agencies.)

Another thought… you had a couple of nice transitions in there, as well as your front and end graphics. Could you perhaps write about (or record about) how you put your vidblog together? What app are you using to do the editing? Are you simply using a web cam? How are you inserting the graphics and transitions?

Dog friendly companies are the best! I used to bring my Rottie to work with me and it was fantasic for everyone involved. Right after you mentioned that company I noticed a cameo by one of your doggies in the background, too.
