Second Life has been ‘down’ for the last 12 hours, by my reckoning, and there is a new version to download (usually around the 26-35mb size).
So if you are planning on jumping into the meeting with Kami, myself et al at the ‘last moment’ be aware that you may be considerably later than you planned.
Plus — The Second Life Business Communicators (and a superb blog, too, guys!) will be gathering at the ‘Infinite Mind’ in-world facility and be treated to a presentation and discussion with its creators; 3:00 PM SL Time (which is also PDT).

Global consulting firm TowerGroup is advising its clients to consider reallocating funds from existing marketing, advertising and R&D budgets to put themselves on the forefront of the “emerging MMORPH/VSW market”.
