Truth in (truck) advertising

G'day! Thanks for returning!

One of the benefits of cellphone cameras is that they allow you to take photos ‘on the spot’.

As I drove down the freeway today I passed a truck with a sign on it:

Road Handling Australia - Drive Safely

RHA stands for ‘Road Handling Australia’, by the way.

I was impressed with the invitation to ‘Drive Safely’.

Why? Because of the contents of the truck. Click on the images to see them a little more clearly…

With Christmas (or ‘the holidays’ in USA) now on our doorsteps, it is timely advice.

As they used to say on Hill Street Blues, “be careful out there.”

I second the motion. My car ended up on one of those trucks a few months ago, and I’m bloody lucky to have walked away from it.
