Ike Piggot is back!
Ike used to run a great blog on ‘communication’, but his biggest worry was always that anything he wrote may have rubbed off on his employer, the Red Cross. As Ike has a heart as big as Manhattan, that’s something that really concerned him, so he stopped blogging just in case someone somewhere got annoyed with something he wrote.
But we knew he couldn’t stay away!
So he’s set up a new blog with a gorgeous design — the blog’s called Occam’s RazR (making the complex simple through better communication) — and you can subscribe to the blog through this feed.
As Ike himself says:
It’s not necessarily communications centered — nor is it PR, nor is it social media. It’s not even really science geekery. Not totally, anyway. I just think a lot of the memes and ideas we’ve all seen batted around could use a little outside perspective. WAY outside.
The themes and concepts that led me to kick-start a new online presence would have been just as likely to spring forth on a May 18th, or more appropriately on an April 1st. So, in the spirit of William of Occam, let’s recognize a coincidence for what it is: an unnecessary detail that obfuscates the truth.
Enjoy. This blog will be my
polemicpersonal journal, as I learn how to better make the complex more simple.
A very warm welcome back, mate — we truly missed you!
