Lunch meetings/dates/outings are the key to better understanding someone and who they work for. I am a big believer of lunch outings with work colleagues, future employers and/or with those "networking extensions." Not only do they teach you more about someone and the organization they are related to, but they also contribute to building up one's social skills, consideration, maturity and achievement drive.

Jane Shannon's book strongly relates to where I feel I am in my pr career right now (about to graduate!). Thanks so much for sharing her book information with this post- I am ordering her book!

I feel that many people do no understand the importance of luncheons with work colleagues and are not aware of the important results that will evolve from them. Especially in our careers- pr, we must be willing to constantly learn, especially from others What better way to learn, be informed and improve your personal skills than over lunch?!

Thanks for sharing your information with us Lee! Hope you are doing good! One of these day we will have to do lunch!
