That clever clogs Marjolein Hoekstra has been at it again.
She’s created a very useful little javascript application that pops into your browser and allows you to auto-skim read blogs for the keywords you are interested in.
Confused? Let me give you an example.
Let’s say I want to conduct some research into, say, Second Life. I know that Neville Hobson is a prolific blogger and that he sometimes posts about Second Life. I thus want to filter his blog and be presented with only posts that contain the phrase ‘Second Life’.
By using M’s script I can do just that.
Or let’s say I want to keep an eye out for mentions of a client (or a competitor) in the mainstream press. I could set up filters for my client’s name across mainstream press feeds and voila!
Very handy, M!
