Meet the linguistic challenges of working abroad

The young Lord Hopkins of The Adelaide Hills has just learnt how to conjugate 'amo'

Philip Yaffe has written another fantastic article and I have the pleasure of including it in my collection of business communication articles.

The title is: Fast-tracking Foreign Languages: How to Meet the Linguistic Challenges of Working Abroad.

Philip’s objective is to help native English-speakers face the daunting challenge of learning another language. English-speakers deservedly have a very poor reputation when it comes to speaking other tongues. There are good reasons for this, and some good strategies for getting around them.

These have helped Philip enormously with acquiring Dutch, French, Spanish and Swahili; now he’d like to share them with the world.

Hop on over and check the article out — it’s grouse, as we say in these here parts.
