Even though I’m not yet the proud owner of a digital slr (too many other tech bits to buy and other family expense priorities before I blow $$ on a hobby), Digital Photography School is fast becoming one of the sites I turn to when in need of some online R’n'R.
Latest treats:
- How to Cheat in Photoshop CS3. A book review. “I would give this book a rating of 9 out of 10. The only reason I pulled it back from being a perfect score is that once or twice in it I found that it went above my head. To be fair – Steve [author] does say that this book assumes a basic understanding of Photoshop.”
- Alternative Nikon Kit Lenses – Review Results. “A few weeks ago we posted a review from Camera Labs that explored the options for Canon DSLR owners when it comes to kit lens upgrades. This of course only appealed to those of you with Canon DSLRs and I received a few emails from readers wanting information on alternatives for Nikon users.”
- 15 Inspiring Underwater Images. “To get myself in the mood for some underwater photography I decided to do a little surfing on Flickr and see what I could find as examples of under water photography. The following are 15 of the better images that I found.”
- Popular Digital Cameras. “One camera sold significantly more than any other this last quarter – the Canon EOS 40D. In there were more 40D’s bought than all other DSLRs added together”
A great site, check it out.
