G'day! Thanks for returning!
[blush] I’m up there with friends and colleagues Trevor Cook (7th), Paull Young (3rd) and Laurel Papworth ("I have a silk worm and I’m not afraid to use it") who is 4th.
We’re all part of a Top 50 list for B&T Magazine (no, Rude Boy, not "Bums and T*ts Monthly"). You can find the list on pages 35-38.
The B&T folks kindly said of me:
"The only blogger in the top 10 with his own press kit, Lee Hopkins is an internal and web-based external communication business consultant who shares his views via a blog, which offers visitors a whole heap of content around better understanding of social media"
Which shows that the author of the list actually did spend more than 10 seconds there. I’m exceptionally flattered; especially so when you consider who else is in the 50.
No doubt it was Trevor’s fabulous new-look blog over at Crikey that pushed him ahead of me [grin] — for which a thousand credit points goes to my good mate for scoring such a great place to reside.
Crikey, for non Aussie residents, is a fabulous site full of passionate communicators who aren’t afraid to take on the ’sacred cows’ of society. It is a very fitting new home for Trevor and one I am good-naturedly envious of! Although it is slightly antithetical to the nature of social media that there are no links off to the websites of commenters to posts on Crikey. But I guess you can’t have it all, and it is their site.

Oh, and btw, Laurel — if the ol’ geezer gets an invite to speak in Auckland in March, he can bow at my feet in gratitude… {grin}
