Interesting statistics regarding the older demographic. The recent Nielsen report found that Women in particular in the 40-50 yrs in the home were the fastest growing demographic on Facebook.

It sort of makes sense to me that “older” people are adopting these technologies and using these sites. The bulk of bloggers fall into the 30-50 age range and so social networking sites become an extension of their blogging activities.
