Thus asks the guru of online analytics (and author of my next book purchase) Avinash Kaushik, because one of my personal goals this year is to understand my website visitors at a deeper level than just how many 'visitors per month' I get.
Quantify this stuff and see if you can't negotiate a payrise when the CEO realises just how much $$ value you and your website bring to the business. Seriously.

I'm enjoying “Web Analytics 2.0″ by Avinash Kaushik.
The byline of the book says a lot about where the Web Analytics field is heading “The art of online Accountability & Science of Customer Centricity”
Sure is deeeeep stuff.
Looking forward to getting it. It's out of print at the moment, awaiting completion of another print run; Dymocks reckon it should land in their letterbox in about 14 days time.
You don't happen to have a copy of his first book, do you, that I could pinch and delve into?
