Fabulous infographic on the amount of money gambled on the Melbourne Cup

I love infographics. Done well, they can tell such a rich story that words alone would take far too long to convey.

An example of a great one is the infographic from the Dachis Group that I blogged about a couple of days ago.

Now, courtesy of Nicky Dunin from CKY Media in Subiaco, Western Australia, comes a fabulous look at how much money is gambled on the Melbourne Cup and what that money could do if directed otherwise.
