Hat tip to the fabulous Greg Verdino who also, in another post, replays some pearls of wisdom that dropped from the mouths of some pretty clued-up folks — for example:
“If what you want to do in the virtual world can be done on the web, it can probably be done better on the web.” - Reuben Steiger, Millions of Us. In other words, if you are setting out to deliver the same type of flat, linear experience you are most likely delivering through your website, don’t bother. It will not work in the metaverse.
