If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed (you can even subscribe via email!). Thanks for visiting!I’m wondering if anyone knows how to solve a particular problem I have:
I want to track avatars that I might send to a business, and then track any transactions that avatar might make.

The new office: gorgeous one day, perfect the next!

Lee Laperriere relaxes and reclines, watching another gorgeous sunrise from his new home.
Situated on a man-made island with nothing but a glorious view of the sea, and with a lovely little beach hut and a couple of recliner chairs, our hero can escape the hurly-burly of business, academic and family life and find solace, [...]

The Grid - will we ever see it

Not the grid of ‘Google Grid’ fame, nor the Grid of Second Life fame, but The Grid at Cern.
Apparently, the Cern version of online connectivity could allow 10Gbps performance — which would be nice because I’m trying to build a new office for myself today in Second Life and the lag is horrendous!

interested in the potential [...]

I spent about a fortnight researching various office locations [...]

Now here’s the proof: according to Tateru Nino and as reported by Wagner James [...]

Looking for a new home

The CommsCafe has moved.
The US$40/month rent was just too high to sustain, and although the location was beautiful, it was time to find somewhere more economically sustainable for the Comms Cafe consultancy.
I had a brief chat with Gary Hazlitt (the same Gary that built the Bigpond islands and the ABC island) and he suggested a [...]

Gasp, beautiful video from Robbie

Hat tip to Mitch Joel and CC Chapman

Says Mitch:
The true power of Digital Marketing is not what you can do with an existing campaign online. True power in Digital Marketing comes when, as a Marketer, you can produce something for the environment that you simply cannot do in any other media channel.

Amen, brother!
